Charleston Chamber Players is a professional trio consisting of Oboist Mark Gainer,
Flutist Jessica Hull-Dambaugh, and Cellist Greg Homza.

Mark Gainer
Mark Gainer is in his twenty-sixth season as a principal oboist with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra and its woodwind quintet, and has been a featured soloist with the CSO on numerous occasions. He holds degrees from the Hartt School and the Julliard School of Music, and has performed with the Mexican State Symphony and the Filarmonica de Caracas. He has performed as a principal oboist in various regional orchestras in the southeast as well, including the North Carolina and the Savannah Symphony Orchestras. As an active chamber musician, he has organized and performed in recitals all over the Americas. He has spent his summers participating in the Vale Veneto Festival (Brazil), the Colorado Music Festival, and was a soloist in the Spoleto Chamber Music Series. He is a faculty member of the College of Charleston.
Jessica Hull-Dambaugh
Originally from Long Island, New York, Jessica Hull-Dambaugh is currently the Principal Flutist of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra, a position she has held since 2004. In addition, she has spent her summers playing flute and piccolo with the Central City Opera Orchestra in Colorado. Prior to her move to Charleston, Jessica held the position of Principal Flute with the Maryland Symphony Orchestra and performed regularly with the Kennedy Center Opera House Orchestra in Washington, D.C. Jessica has been a featured artist in Piccolo Spoleto's Spotlight Series, has appeared as a featured soloist with the Bar Harbor Music Festival in Maine, and has also performed as a soloist with the Charleston Symphony Orchestra. She toured extensively throughout China, Europe, the Netherlands, South America, Latin America and has attended the Schleswig-Holstein Orchestral Academy in Germany, the Music Academy of the West, the National Orchestral Institute, and the Youth Orchestra of the Americas Orchestral Training Institute. Jessica received her B.M. from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, and earned her M.M. at Carnegie Mellon University where she was a student of Jeanne Baxtresser, Retired Principal Flutist of the N.Y. Philharmonic.

Greg Homza
Associate Cellist Greg Homza returned to South Carolina in August 2004, after
fifteen years living in Florida and Indiana. He began his cello
studies in Columbia, and went on to complete a Bachelor's degree in
cello performance at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
Greg stayed at IU to complete his Master's degree – in organ
performance! He is also an accomplished organist and choral
conductor, and is Director of Music at The Church of Saint John the
Beloved in Summerville.
In addition to his church responsibilities, Greg is active as a
cellist throughout the Lowcountry. He is a member of several chamber
ensembles, and regularly substitutes with the Charleston
Symphony Orchestra.
